Google has decided to donate no less than five million dollars for research in digital journalism in a clear attempt to soften its relationship with the media, with the argument that journalism is concerned as necessary to maintain the health of democracy.
" Let's focus on working with media groups to develop better products for users and we believe it is essential to encourage innovation from the base " explained from Google.
Of the total grant, two million will be allocated to the programs of the Knight Foundation U.S. and another three million others try similar projects in other countries newspaper dare to experiment and to help journalists to move digital information.
